Come as you are.

Liberation Isn’t a Solo Project

The Messy Liberation Circle is a year-round community for people who are done unlearning alone — a facilitated space to learn, question, mess up, get challenged, and build real relationships with people doing this same messy, imperfect work.

No certifications required. No performative allyship. Just people committed to getting free, together.

Learn. Question. Belong.
Messy Liberation Circle community

You might belong here if…

  • You’re an activist, an organizer, a coach, or just someone trying to be more awake to the world — and less complicit in its harms
  • You read anti-racism, feminist, and anti-capitalist writers and want somewhere to actually process it with other humans, not just add it to a shelf
  • You consider yourself progressive, left, socialist, or simply “still figuring out my politics” and want to do that figuring-out in good company
  • You’re tired of performative allyship — your own included — and want a space that pushes you past comfort
  • You crave community that isn’t transactional, isn’t a course you finish and forget, and isn’t built around hustle
  • You want to be challenged, not just affirmed

Most personal growth is designed to be private. We built something that isn’t.

How it works

Every week has a rhythm and a purpose. The moment you join, you’re part of the whole Messy Liberation Circle community — one shared Slack space for everyone — plus you’ll be placed on a journey track (a smaller group of people around the same place as you in their unlearning) with dedicated channels and a curated reading list built for exactly where you are.

📚 Learning Week

Smaller-group discussion of an article or short piece, matched to where your Circle is in the journey — plus co-reading time, so you’re not processing it alone at 11pm.

🎙️ Author Week

A discussion of the Messy Liberation podcast episode featuring that week’s guest, followed by an intimate conversation with the author or expert themselves.

🎉 Community Week

The fun week. Trivia, tier lists, “would you rather,” games, and creative hangouts like craft or paint-and-chat. Liberation work is heavy — this is where we laugh and just be together.

✊ Affinity Week

Space with people who share your identity — Black, white, POC, LGBTQ+, and others — to talk through what’s happening in the world with people who just get it.

What you get

Equitable, sliding-scale pricing

Pick the rate that’s true for your circumstances — no explanation needed, no judgment either way.

Lower tier

$300/yr

or $25/mo

If paying more would represent real financial harm, choose this rate. We welcome you with open arms — no questions asked.

Suggested

$420/yr

or $35/mo

Our suggested dues for this community.

Supporter tier

$600/yr

or $50/mo

If privilege allows you to pay this amount without pain, you’ll help offset the lower rate for those for whom money represents a greater barrier.

Every tier includes full access to everything — choose whichever billing cadence works best for your budget.

Questions

How does enrollment work?

Open, rolling enrollment. Join whenever you’re ready — you don’t have to wait for a cohort or a start date.

What if I choose the lower-priced tier — will I get less?

Never. All three rates get full access to everything. The sliding scale exists so the community stays accessible, period.

What if I’m brand new to this work?

Good. You’ll be placed on a journey track with people at a similar starting point, with a reading list built for exactly that stage. Nobody’s expected to arrive with it all figured out.

Is this therapy or coaching?

No — it’s community, facilitated discussion, and shared learning. It’s not a substitute for therapy or professional support.

Come as you are.
